Who We Are?
INTRODUCTION
Founded since 2001 by Engineer Mustapha Mohammed Sokoto, the Mustapha Economic Empowerment Foundation (MEEF) is a unique grassroots, pro-poors, pro-the less priviledges & pro-youth foundation which wants to help the poor people of Sokoto help themselves.
Islam & Christianity has made all Muslims & Christians as brothers & sisters to one another through the message of brotherhood, love and caring for each other and to be at the forefront to help those in need—this is the significant characteristic of a true Christian in Christianity & a true Muslim in Islam.
WHY CARING?
There are so many people who have endured a miserable demise due to lack of basic daily necessities while many other young men have gone into the darkest phase of their life introduced to them by the misuse of drugs and other vices due to un-employment. •
Do we know how many bright pupils have been unable to realise their ambitions of education simply because their parents and guardians are poor?
• How many helpless sisters and daughters remain shames to themselves just because they are poor?
• How many babies, children and the olds have died due to lack of care to our environment which causes the spread of mosquito and other deadly diseases?
• How many more of our people are we willing to sacrifice and to allow to continue to suffer these problems?
BECAUSE HE CARES….
The Mustapha Economic Empowerment Foundation (meefsokoto) was established to counter these difficulties experienced daily by the less-privileges and has been working for the benefit of the poor & the needy people of Sokoto state.
The Mustapha Economic Empowerment Foundation Sokoto (meefsokoto) is a, non-profit, non-partisan and non-governmental charity organization which has been working for the benefit of the poors & the needy of the people of Sokoto state.
MISSION
My mission is to assist and give from the little I have, in order to provide economic empowerment support to those who live on less than a = N = 100 ($1) a day, for them to be independent & self-reliant, so that they could improve the quality of their lives by helping them help themselves. |
